Brief Method Summary
|
Inoculate tubes of M-staphylococcus broth and incubate at 35 deg. C. for 24 hours. Hold the original enrichment sample but streak from positive (turbid) tubes on plates of lipovitellenin-salt mannitol agar and incubutate at 35 deg. C. for 48 hours. Opaque yellow zones around colonies indicate positive reactions. Refer to Section 7 for additional procedures if the plate is negative. |

Sample Handling
|
