Author
USEPA Quality System for Environmental Data and Technology
Abstract/Summary Statement
Decision Error Feasibility Trials (DEFT) is computer software for for determining the feasibility of design objectives defined using the Data Quality Objectives (DQO) Process (See EPA QA/G-4). DEFT prompts the user to enter information from the DQO steps into a series of entry screens. The entered information is verified and then used to estimate sample size and costs. The software allows a user to test a new sampling design's performance against the original DQO.
